Hi, SO I realise I didn't get this post up friday. I went to a quiz night, admist lots of cheese and biscuits and a very fun evening I had little time for much else. The rest of the weekend have been spent with law and order, special victims unit, csi and pretty little liars. I'm big among the mystery solving dramas at the moment.

These are my favourite pair of boots ever! My parents got them for me for Christmas, from Office. They're just so cool, like, no other words to describe. Remind me of Agy Deyn and Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldoff when they would all hang around in the cool indie spots in london. Obvs I'm trying to emulate that effect. Thing is, they're a fantastic heel, not too high but makes me a good couple inches taller comfortably, due to the nicely hidden platform. Super good!

Taking pride of place among my 'nice shoes' collection (My regular school loafers, converse and boring heels just randomnly living elsewhere). Yes, I do have red docs. And also Vivienne Westwood for Melissa Lady Dragons. I've been building up my babies for a while ;)

Another excellent christmas present. I LOVE doing my eyebrows. I am a firm believer the eyebrows are 'the windows to your eyes' therefore they need to be sharp and strong. Unfortunately, I think when they stop looking like eyebrows and more like caterpillars, then you should stop, sorry scousebrow-ers ;) ANYway, my friend Sasha indulged me in my eyebrow obsession in the form of benefits adorable and brilliant kit 'brow-zing'.

I got a reduced O.P.I at a beauty warehouse, am definately warming very much to the brand, not a good thing cause originally it costs 10.99 a bottle. Cath Kidston Nail kit and a book I didn't like by Philippa Gregory.

Experimenting with long exposures, building up ghost like images of myself. Can you spot me? :p

My favourites included Balenciaga (Excellent prints), Mi Miu (Loved the bow's featured on cardigans and coats) Chanel (Because it's Chanel) and Isabel Marant (Only show that managed to break away from the 'ladylike' trend and get away with it, I loved every piece).^^Isabel Marant has made me need an oversized sports jumper!The white trend was shown by fairytale designers including Comme des Garcons, Louis Vutton and Yohji Yammamoto. I think next season everyone will be toning it down into the perfect, feminine, 'lolita' esque white dresses. And i needdddd one!I was dissapointed with Celine, Phoebe Philo showed a lot of boxy shapeless jackets and trousers. Taken apart as seperate pieces they would probably show appeal with something more streamlined, but I just thought they were the kind of clothes you look back on and think 'oh my, what was I thinking!' I wore this outfit sans the tights with aviators and pumps on England's really sunny weekend in like, october. Ahh those were the dayss! I miss summer.
SO, happy new years eve guys! Thought I'd give it a post as I'm so desperately avoiding my revision. My friend got me to take some pictures for his new album yesterday, he's a brilliant rapper. I was so excited that he asked me :) Check him out- His name's Tim Ajayi but he raps under the name 'Menace'. I've also done an amazing amount of shopping this holiday, going to Westfields stratford AND oxford street the day after boxing day. I also went to the National Gallery, sketched there and have seen friends old and new. Pretty good eh.
So 2011 for me? I started it with ambitions of making a lot of new clothes and not buying any. Well, I realised in around June that I hated this idea, as I had no inspiration anymore, and no time to make clothes, but my sewing skills did improve. I made my prom dress, my friends 16th birthday party dress, a dress that got me an a* in textiles, And in summer I made two skirts from scratch plus edited an amazing dress from a charity shop which I'm so glad about cause it's one of my favourite dresses now. And I just made me a new school skirt, which is perfect, if I do say so myself.
My wardrobe has definately grown since summer, where I was fortunate enough to visit Canada AND New york. So amazing, best time of my life, fantastic, actual holiday where I actually didn't wanna come home. I also got a pair of vivienne westwoods. And some more amazing shoes.
How about achievements? I just got 400 followers on my blog! Which was my aim for this year, as I had 200 last year and 100 year before that. I aim to double growth each year, but 800's a bit daunting haha! I've also done features and advertisments for compainies I love, which seems crazy that they know about me and this. Academically? I finally made excellent. I've always been borderline. I got 7a*'s 5 a's and a b at GCSE. And before you think I'm an overachiever I got a D at Add maths ;) I got into the sixth form I wanted and am there and loving every second of it. Even though A levels are tough!
Important life decisions? Moving sixth form, and I decided not to be a vet. Now I'm looking at chemistry, biochemistry, neuroscience with intentions of perhaps doing forensics? A levels, etc.
What else? Dofe silver, best friends in new forest for three days, crazy things happen :p Glee live! First concert with a good friend, knowing every lyric and screaming them to each song, A all girls Valentines Ball :p Extreme! Communtiy outreach and service with girls I became so close to yet never knew, The beach in winter spring summer and fall, Trips to Camden and Westfields where I spent my months wages, Thorpe Park twice, Meals out and more nando's than one can ever imagine, 42 likes on a status (most I've ever had :p) Photography projects landing you in the school team, playing music in bands everywhere, Preaching a sermon (!!!) reading classics, loving life.
SO 2k12? I hope to get good AS levels, get my photog work up on a wall in our school, and on album covers, painting, not killing my new bonsai tree, new designer shoes :p, wear heels more, not eat so much kfc, develop a huge music album collection, go on tour to europe, just have an epic time with epic people.

You know I don't follow the fashionista rules. On my down days I dress like a normal 17 year old with Hollister Jeans, Hollister Shirts, A&F cardigans, Superdry tops or boring jumpers with either converse or the worst offenders, uggs. Outfits that require minimum effort but still look decentish (Hoodie and tracksuit bottoms can never be worn outside the house!) require a serious breaking of Never-buy-any-a&f-endorsed-product. I love this cardigan though and I think with the dress the look says cute and preppy and not too preppy and boring (hopefully).

This is what I've been doing recently! Work work work, with the thickest chemistry textbook known to man. However, I wanted a bit of release, and with a planned trip to Westfield Stratford next week I thought I'd look at some fashion, so I bought a cheeky Elle.
I've been working a lot on my art recently, and here's some stuff I've done.

My best friend got me this gorgeous set of pictures of the fashion capitals of the world. I love them. They take pride of place above my dressing table.

I've wanted a rotating earring stand from Urban Outfitters for ages, so I decided to ask for one for my birthday. It's amazing, makes picking earrings to wear a breeze.

My makeup mess on a night out! My friends got me urban decay's naked palette (the original) for my birthday and it's the best thing ever. The colours are so pigmented and amazing and gah I love it. The new soap and glory range is so kitch, and I have the pen eyeliner which works brilliantly. Some more of make up includes Clinique oil free powder, eyelure lashes, dandelion powder & big beautiful eyes by benefit.

This dress is one of the best in my wardrobe. It's a fantastic shape, you can dress it up or down, tights/bare legs, whatever, and it always looks cool. I was wearing it in topshop and the girl behind the counter told me she loved it. It's got a vintage shape but a sort of space-age print, with shimmering stripey pastels.
Luckily for me it looks best with minimal effort hair and make up, so I can literally get up and go! My favourite kind of dress.

I dyed my hair purple. That's new with me. And I refound my tumblr addiction. :D

AHHHHHHH. I love love lovee next seasons trends. The colours, the prints, the shapes. The cool quirky fun girl marching around London town. High necklines are all the rage atm, so if you're not covered up, you're out. However, doesn't mean if it's high, you're gonna look matronly. Erderm spiced it up with red lips, Acne showed off a pair midriff and a lot of leg, bodycon dresses were shown at David Koma. Think Blair Waldorf and Serena Van der Woodson crusing around in St. Barts.
And who else is DYING for that light camel Giles suit? Something about it reads 1940's war heroine. And I'm all for being a war heroine.
Well, I am snowed under with work as usual, but when am I not? Trying to desperately maintain being 'an asian and not a bsian'. However I am getting C's, and a B for art. Well, hopefully, all will improve? Time will tell my lovelies.
Oh, and I turned seventeen.

Gosh, the last photo is a bit out of focus. Problem with self timer and automatic settings haha! The jacket is an amazing charity shop find. I don't often get a lot of charity shop stuff unless it's really really nice, and this was one of the ones I decided to actually buy haha. It's a beautiful pale green tweed, with some sparkly gold threads running through it. Very chanel. If only the shop had a matching pencil skirt to go with it! Ahh can't ask for too much.
My lipstick is one of the three I bought from Kate Moss's collection, I also have the coral and nude lipstick. It's a fantastic colour, and the lipstick packaging looks great and the lipstick feels nice on too. It's quite moisturizing, not too cakey, with a lovely intense colour. Tempted to get the other four lipsticks as well! It's the only bit of make up I'm wearing haha.
I am so sorry about the lack of posts! A levels are killing me. I seriously thought they wouldn't be that much work, well haha, turns out they are. Killing myself. I do have a load of outfit posts lined up though, so expect good things :)

I know I'm a bit late on the fashion week thing, but I do this most seasons and it keeps me on top of the trends haha. S/S 2012, I see pastels, tee shirts and long chiffon skirts, with a summer heritage twist.

These Oscar de la renta dresses are possibly the most beautiful things ever.

Marchesa always impresses! I want one of these as a wedding gown one day. Can imagine Taylor Swift in all of these dresses.

Lottie's Guide to Men's Autumn/Winter Fashion 2011

Dressing well for boys is so much easier than dressing well for girls. Boys clothing often goes together a lot nicer than girls clothing, so they don't have to spend so long thinking about their outfit. It's so annoying! And it really bothers me that despite this, a lot of guys manage to cock it up. There are good reasons why boys should try when it comes to their appearance, because a good sense of style can make a boy 2298408230394343244 times more attractive. Trust me. Follow these easy steps.

Casual Wear! This season it's all about the preppy. Team polo shirts with cardigans, chino's with bow ties and to keep it casual, stick on some converse/vans to finish your look off. Knits are really in for boys at the moment, and the ones circulating the catwalks currently are big chunky patterned ones. Think your dad's old jumpers but with a twist. NOTE: If you are going to do the big knit trend (which I definately think you should) make sure the rest of you looks really modern. Never wear with baggy trousers/jeans. Always go for skinny bottoms, and a cool pair of shoes.

When it comes to coats, there's only a couple of ways boys can go. First up it's the trench. This classic staple will suit any figure, and will smarten up any guys look. Plus they go with everything. Next it's the Pea Coat- My personal favourite. The military feel, big collar and big buttons. Any boy would look so fly in this it's insane! And a trend coming in this winter is definately the duffle coat- perfect for that little indie guy who wants to keep it cute and casual. Duffle coats look amazing with knitwear, scarves, hats, blaa.

Suits should be worn more often. Not gonna lie. When it comes to suits, wear them skinny. Nothing worse than an ill fitting, baggy suit. Grey has been all over the place recently, but I think we need to make room for brown (strong/silent/studious type suit), blue, and good old black (again). I'm also liking this checked suit trend popping up on burberry. If you don't wanna go out and buy a new suit, why not mix it up by wearing a plaid shirt beneath your dinner jacket? Keeps the preppy vibe.

Also boys, suits don't have to be worn as two pieces together if worn at all. Mix it up a bit! Smarten up that T-Shirt and jeans with a dinner jacket. Looks so much nicer.

A girl needs good jeans in her life. Good jeans can be worn up or down, season after season, any weather, any situation. Good jeans are comfortable and good jeans make you look good. That's why you call them your good jeans!

However, many women find that when looking for their staple pair of denims, that discovering their bad boys is a long and lengthy process. I for one know that looking for jeans is a struggle. I have short legs, so often I have to hem my jeans, and I also have a big bum but a small waist- making it hard to find jeans that will fit me properly. I also like them to be very stretchy and not made out of hard/stiff denim- I like to move my legs a lot without worrying about hearing those dreadful ripping noises!
Luckily I've found my perfect jeans now, I have a casual pair of light blue jeans from H&M, and a dark wash pair from when I was in Hollister in toronto (they had a half price sale on all jeans!). Both are super, super skinny (Only way I like them ;))
However, some women may not want the seven hour flight to get to toronto to find their perfect jeans. Went to New Forest,Walked over 60 km in 3 days, camping out each night with my gorgeous friends and (absolutely) no luxuries

Ate many nandoes

Visited Thorpe Park Twice and had an awesome time on both occasions

Started a new school

Met new people

Went to the beach in the freezing cold

Became proud of my exam result achievements

Went out to dinner a lot

Lived.

Now I'm back at school. A new school indeed. But school. It's good, I like my new school, I miss my old friends though, and I'm pretty sure someone now knows about my blog. Damnit! Aha. Anyway, A levels are tough stuff, and I barely get time to flit between fb and hw let alone blogging ;) Urgh I forgot how much of a distraction facebook is!

The best thing about a new school year is definately new stuff. My pencilcase and water bottle are from Paperchase, My calc and folders are from Smiths, and my bag is from Topshop. SPENT A FORTUNE BUT WHO DAMN CARES.

However Art is weird at the moment, we're doing expression and my teacher wants us to do abstraction. I told him I liked fashion though and he told me to take some pictures, so I did. They're alright, not the best. Oh well.

Wall St. and Time Square

When we are in New York we stayed right next to Ground Zero, so Wall st. was just arounf the corner! It's so cool, the buildings are beautiful and they have a great little Tiffany & Co. down at the end of the street.

New York, like London and many of the big cities, inevitably has many people shooting for telly right on the street. This lady was presenting for Fox News. I have no idea who she is or what she was talking about but I stood behind her, waving, like the fame hungry whore I am :)

I'm back from perhaps the best holiday of my life! Canada is so beautiful, and so peaceful. We stayed by a lake for a week, then we moved to stay in Toronto (Lovely city!) and then went to New York. Sooo gorgeous! Wish I was back there.

I'll update you on my trip in various posts, Starting with one of my days in New York. I wore better clothes in New York, I was quite slobbish in Canada aha.

Well, I've nearly finished packing so I can go on holiday tomorrow, few things left to doo :)

I also got my hair permed. Yes that is my pyjama top I am wearing!

My mum brought me back some awesome stuff from China- Including this fake OPI navy crackle polish. It looks beyond awesome.

She also got me some BB Cream! Which I love.

I bought the big beautiful eyes from benefit, as I've had my eyes on it for a while! It's a good complete brown smokey eye kit- not a lot of sets give include mirrors, brushes and concealers. My mum also got me the Dandelion blush from China, which is awesome.

Well, I'm watching free willy currently, but I need to do a little sortagee of my packing before I go and stuff. Very excited! :)

These brogues from timeless at spartoo are freaking adorable! I love the wicker on them, and they are a really interesting take on the ever so fashionable and classic brogue style. They would go with soo many things but I decided to really play on their cuteness to make this outfit, which I think is adorable not gonna lie. I need those shorts/bloomers/whatever.

I'm going to Canada on Sunday! I'm superrr excited, We're staying on a lake around 100 miles out of toronto, then we're going to toronto then to NEW YORKKK YAHHH and Niagra Falls. Pretty much the most epic holiday ever. I'm gonna buy shedloads of stuff dudes. Don't you worry ;) I don't know if I'm gonna be able to fit in another post before then, hopefully I will! Okay, I'm a bit late on the celine train but here I am! I love Phoebe Philo's way of dressing women in souch a feminine yet edgy and classic way. Male designers usually get the headlines but female designers KNOW how to dress a woman. You can't often beat the silhouettes they make.

You guys all understand my love of shoes- so it's kinda obvious I've fallen in love with the buttery tan leather and wooden wedges. However I'm about three seasons too late and £500 short, so I have found a substitute in the form of Ash! Ash is a cool brand, it's got some credit in the high end high street section.

Prom Night

This is me before my prom! It was a good night, everyone looked so lovely. However I'm still glad I'm leaving it all for sixth form.

I made my dress! I thought it was the only way I could get something original and with the detail I wanted for the right price. It's a bit different to the design I originally posted, I wanted something with a bit more va va voom, so after seeing a versace dress used in an vogue italia editiorial featuring Emma Watson I was sold! With a bit of help from the loverly Gertie from her blogforbettingsewing, I managed to interpret the features I fell in love into something that would suit me a bit more, i.e I made it short.

I was so poor when buying my prom shoes and bag, I just went to primark! These shoes were £13.00, but had a cork platform and heel which I didn't like so I painted it grey. I have no pictures of my bag, but it's not that interesting. It's just a big grey faux snakeskin ish clutch.

I also wanted to juxtapose the girlyness of the dress a little, so I bought an amazing topshop necklace (I earnt some more money by this time yey :) that was a multirow with lots of feathers. I saw a gorgeous long necklace on Emma Watson's Vanity fair shoot and wanted something to give it that edge.

If you don't think I love Emma Watson enough, you might after this. My hair is also inspired by one of her do's before the chop, watch the tutorial I used here! My best friend did my hair, I thought she did a fantastic job.

I also had very dark smokey eyes which I did (and was very proud of! I have finally learnt how to blend) to edge it up, and some very natural eyelure lashes. I also had gel nails done but they all came off (I went hiking around New forest the day after prom, for four days- they didn't survive)

For all you sewing guru's out there, the dress has a simple boned strapless bodice with a sweetheart neckline made from lilac ducchess satin. The skirt was made out of several different sized circles cut into ruffles, piled on top of each other and sewn across the lining. The ruffles were made of purple organza, lilac ducchess satin and cream chiffon. For more fullness, I had four layers of cream (wedding veil) netting and one layer of just plain hard white tulle.

With the start of Glastonbury (Which is THE ultimate music festival, possibly ever) I had to do a post on Hunter wellies. Now a lot of places do nice wellies. Topshop are never short of some cute patterned ones. I got my last pair of wellies from Kickers-which were awesome, but after very limited use (literally, I wore them for around a week a year) they have a crack in them after two years. I'm also a big fan of the joules ones with the cute little ribbon at the back. However, I think the only road you should really go down for wellies is Hunter.

They're just so cool! They make your festival outfits and give you that 'I am all about the music' look. I love how Nicola Roberts wears them for the above picture.

I think that white converse should be in literally EVERYBODIES wardrobes. Gender and age simply does not matter! Their a classic, comfortable shoe which will go with everything and make it look great. I mean, David Tennant's doctor who wore them with a suit. I have wanted them foreverrr and I have finally got them thanks to Spartoo Shoes! I absolutely love them, I wear them all the time.

I havn't done an outfit post in a while so I decided to show you what I wore last Sunday. I'm completely influenced by the romantic look, which is clearly evident in this outfit. However I took these photo's pretty early in the morning and I cropped my face out them all :( haha well I'm not that much to look at.

I'm on Easter Hol's right now and I'm having a bit of a break and taking part on a community service and outreach project called eXtreme. It's absoluetly amazing. I love it. WE ARE CHOSEN AND WE ARE LOVED :)

This is the first of my spartoo shoes posts :) How exciting eh? I'm just gonna be showing twice a month some of the lovely shoes they have on there, how you can and how people do wear them. I decided for my first post, I'm taking it back to British basics baby.

Dr Martens are an age old brand, originating sometime in 1945 Germany where some guy hurt his foot and decided to design a shoe with an air cushioned sole for comfort and found it worked really nicely. They had a bit of trouble getting manufacturers to think the same thing, but managed to eventually find a production place in England, and created the shoes for work and comfort purposes. Now Dr Martens are everywhere and have been incorporated into decades of fashion. Mods, skinheads, goth, grunge all donned the docs during their day and we are still wearing them now. How great is that? I loveee how these girls above are wearing these docs. Love them with bare legs and chunky socks, oversized jumpers and trench coach. And they would perfectly juxtapose that floaty girly dress :)I don't own a pair of Doc's myself, but my friend does and she says their comfier than uggs. So get them. I think I neeeed the vintage red pair.

I'm making my prom dress! Not because I'm all cool unique like- because this way I can spend more on shoes ahhha :) The flowery panel in the middle is lace, and I've ordered the pale lilac ducchess satin. Gahh so excited. I was gonna go long- but I'm not so tall so I think knee length is the best option.

I bought this new bed cover from ikea. Love the floral vintageness.

I absolutely adore this skirt. The colour is absolutely amazing. It's a little small though, so I have to breathe in quite a lot when I wear this! My gut still felt the restraint a couple of days later.

This is my go to make up nowadays. It's from this tutorial here- how to get Minni from Skins make up. She's absolutely gorgeous and I love her style. I particularly like the particular emphasis on the eye in a subtle way, brown and smokey with the white eyeliner and huge eyelashes. And my curly hair is from another tutorial on youtube, heatfree and very easy!

Off to watch Lily Allen's documentary now :)

One store which I’ve always adored is All Saints. Everything is so gorgeously presented and the clothes are so off-duty model chic. Unfortunately for me, there isn’t an All Saints in my local high street (undoubtedly it’s not awesome enough) so whenever I’m in London and see an All Saints, I immediately do a double take before turning around and dragging them into it for a long, long browse against the racks and racks of heavenly clothing.

All Saints is probably predominantly in London because it epitomises the London Look-and many have said the Londoners styles are some of the most innovative and ‘on-trend’ in the world (I’m not from London so I can’t take credit). When I see a piece from the shop, it’s usually on some gorgeous girl with fantastic style. And usually on the arm of that girl, is her indie-clad boyfriend, also dressed in All Saints.

The All Saints man is hot. And he wears skinny jeans tighter than yours and mine, blazers and to top it off a fantastic coat. Mens coats are beautiful in All Saints, I only wish I had a boyfriend to but one for. Their so perfect, they have such a vintage-mod feel.

If I were you girlies who are lucky in love, get this one for your boyf. It will look fantastic on him (like a hot Sherlock Holmes) and plus, you can steal it and wear it like this girl on the Satorialist! How’s that for credit crunch couture!

GAHH! Fashion Week! My favourite time of the year par Christmas. New York came up a treat, I'm loving the whole black satin, suiting old hollywood feel. I love how it was all so demure, but still so sexy. Proof that looking amazing does not require all your chest and legs out. Rodarte and Jason Wu were my favourite shows, I NEEEED Rodarte's high waisted trousers and that monochrome Jason Wu dress. Jason Wu is amazing. I love how he and Alexander Wang are kind of Asian Parallells. Both young american asian fashion designers, hitting big at around the same time, each with a look that is so different yet they both tick all the boxes. I love the whole furry look also, I need me a fur skirt!

The lovely people contacted me at lingerieplease to review something hoisery-ish from their site. Of course I immediantly went to Henry Hollands most covetable suspender tights, seen on bloggers everywhere and celebs including the Geldof's and Lily Allen.

I la la lovee them. They are really soft and are a brillaint way to rock the trend whilst not looking to Taylor Momsen try hard. I do not do them justice in my outfit! I want to wear them whimsical, with cream chiffon and lace.

I bought a jewellery plack from Next the other day. Feels so much nicer to have my stuff all nice and neat like.

How are you all? I'm sorry I have not been able to post sooner, I wanted to do something other than purely outfit posts and I could not think of anything! Also, I have been immensely busy. Urgh. GCSE'S eh.

But onto something a bit more exciting, my new Blackberry Curve 3G came a couple of days ago! I used to have the Pearl, but traded it in and have been regretting it since. Finally got one again, only now has every girl I know. But hey, who cares. Their excellent. I could plan my life away on them. Just got to sort some contract deals with it now :/ (Bought mine on Ebay. It actually works out cheaper in the long term, but does not seem so.)

My nails are inspired by something I saw on Tumblr.

I bought these in the topshop sale. They are gorgeous, but I think they hang off my ears in a weird position.

Tumblr has been keeping me very preoccupied these past few days. It's turned me into one of those stereotypical tumblr freaks who reblogs everything and loves lights, bridcages and vintage stuff. I went to Camden Markets for the second time last Sunday. It was so awesome. Probably stands as one ofmy favourite places in London! Definately worth a visit, if you've stayed away from it before due to all the gothica/nu rave culture down there, don't deprive yourself any longer! There are bits for everyone, I mean I went in a group of five and each one of us found places were we loved and bought stuff, and we all have very different tastes! I like to visit Camden for the uniqueness of the clothes, the brashness of the food sellers, and the overall atmosphere. If you do visit Camden, make sure to go into the rave that is 'Cyberdog', bargain with the sellers and try the food. It's very good!

Hat that's also a scarf! Ahh I'm so easily amused! I told my parents once I wanted a balaclava as my face gets really cold, and this is what they came up with! It's basically a bobble hat with reallllly long dappy ear bits that you can tie around your neck like a scarf. I thought it was awesome and now wear it everywhere.

I asked for this sewing book because I absolutely love to make things and I think I need to broaden my horizons from sleeveless bodices and skirts! Of course it had to be vogue, and this book is excellent for showing you how to construct. It explains all fabrics and even how to flatter your body shapes and colours etc! Amazing! Reccommended :)

Wow, readers,I never thought I'd say this but I'm so sick of the High Street. The only shops I really buy stuff in are Topshop, H&M, Primark and sometimes New Look. But Topshop is rocketing it's prices to designer level (I mean I love you Topshop but really?) , as is both New Look and Primark for their poorly made mass produced crap, and I can only count on H&M to make me slightly happy. It's so bad! I'm heading up to Camden in a couple of days anyway- so hopefully can find some individual stuff for a reasonable price.

Just Pink may be an odd choice for a fashion blog, but I cannot help but post it. My dad was an engineer, and he was designing bottle tops for the next Just Pink fragrance. He actually bought me one home, my first ever perfume, when I was around 6. It had an ill fitting lid no doubt! As a typical little girl I adored the pink and how grown up it made me feel, used it on myself, my room and my cuddly toys every day. I almost forgot about it, but I saw it now, limited edition, and remember those carefree sweet days, objectified by the floral but fruity scent of Next's Just Pink.

I don't know it just possesses something A&F doesn't! They also sell it at next- which is a score. So if ya wanna look just like me ;), get one of these babies. They really make you look a lot thinner and are nice to just throw on with jeans if your having a non-inspired day.

This is the belt I would pair with the dress I posted yesterday! Keep it equestrian and grounded! It's gorgeous, 100% leather and has really interesting design features, like the smaller double straps across the side. And you could always twist thatside to the front and you get two different belts in one! I really need a big brown belt as well.....

I completely fell in love with this dress. I'm surprised it's in the winter collection though, I would have said it was more of a late summer/ fall dress. It reminds me of like.. ranches in America. Like Alison Lohman in Flicka pretty party dress for dates with cowboys and stuff. Women who ride with the wind in their hair and freckles on their face, who wear jeans and lumberjack shirts in the day but donne something semi hard but easy in the evening. That's this dress! Comfortable jersey top half, with studs for some grounding, of an interesting cut and some beautiful floaty thing underneath.

Wear with some hardcore tan leather belt and ankle boots, or just boots. I say buy and keep for summer, so your wearing something different!

Day Two! And I'm sticking to my word lovers, here I am!

Ok, I'm REALLY excited about these shoes. I think their fantabbadoosles.

DAMN their gorgeous. How hot are these going to look! I love sports inspired heels, their so fierce and powerful in a non try hard way, and these really top my charts. They look like a cross between Alexander Wang and Burberry, and believe me that is a VERY perfect mix. Gahh. Their a PERFECT colour pallette-khaki and olive and the best of brown wooden platforms and worn leather. The fact that their lace up keeps them ticking the streetstyle boxes and the extra strap keeps them ticking the catwalk boxes.

I think the style keeps them incredibly youthful but the colours kee them relevant and wearable for all ages, which is brilliant because if your a hot mama your going to KILL this shoe!

Their a good price at £50.00, I reckon cause in topshop these kind of boots are £100 or more. Literally I saw a very similar pair from Topshop Unique and they were a £150. So this is a good buy.

Twelve Next-Product-a-days of Christmas: First Day of Christmas my True Love Sent to me, A Trench Coatin a Pear Tree

As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm doing a competition with Next to see if I can send as much linkagetowards them as possible! Therefore I'm doing a series of 'Products of the Day' from Next for the rest of the week. If you want to help me out get clicking!

Next isn't the stereotypically 'cool youth' store- like topshop par example. That's probably why most of those who are under twenty but over twelve try to steer well clear. But I have to say, I have kept a close eye on some of the products Next stock and am pleasantly surprised. Aviator Jackets, Sheer Blouses and Doll Print Smocks make are keeping next incredibly youthful and on trend and we should DEFINATELY give it a chance! You can always ensure Next has optimum quality and when ya mum's getting her staples, you too can sneakily throw something into her basket also!

I spotted this trench coat today. I think it's stunning. The colour is luxurious and will suit all skin tones, the belted waist keeps it flattering and the most interesting part of this trench, how the pieces in the upper half are arranged is an interesting twist on the classic trench. It also keeps it bang up to date.

It's also 95% cotton. Nice to have something that's not polyester nowadays!

At £65.00, it is a bigger buy, but honestly a trench coat is a staple of all wardrobes. Therefore if you love it, get it. It'll probably last you centuries.

Yes, FashionToast is the ultimate style blog and I've been looking at it for years. After some very fashionless weeks I checked it out and I'm practically crying. One look at Rumi with her long, effortless hair and fabulous shoes and best friend (BryanBoy) and I feel awful. Where's the fashion in me? I'm currently wearing a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms, my hair is anything from nice due to a violent haircutting experience and I haven't even ONCE checked out Chanel's SS 2011 show. Sob Sob Sigh. Oh how I wish to be strolling around New York or Milan, in towering Miu Miu's, an Alexander Wang Backpack and a large starbucks frappe in my hands. Yet I am stuck at home, eating rather large sausage sandwhiches and attempting my maths homework.

Reactivating my facebook was almost definately a bad idea. I've done little homework, revision, coursework, blogging or anything remotely fashion related and time-resourceful. I do know a lot more about myfb friends though, whilst for some stupid reason watching a three hour film about Merlin today.

My Half Term has been no less wasted. I have 2 GCSES in two weeks and im so underprepared I feel like crying. I cannot find the motivation. Simples. No motivation whatsoever.

I know it's a tough year, and everything about me is suffering because of it.

Wel, I have managed to do two things I'm proud of this half term, I took my first trip to Camden (and bought a respectable amount which I shall show you in my next post-whenever that'll be...) and arranged a photoshoot with my friend Laura again for my friends art projects. The photos came out so nice, I can't help but share them with you :)

(The theme is figures and botanical forms, which explains the natural aspect. It also meant strapless dresses in freezing weather barefoot, but hey, all in the name of art ;))

I was sent this dress by Covert Candy about a year ago.Its vintage. It was originally like a size fourteen but I took it in, never wore it and just have it in my wardrobe as a showpiece (I do not have the arhem...certain assets needed to fill it out). It looks beautiful against the green of the shrubery in these pictures though :)

I actually made this dress for my textiles project last year. I'm so proud of this dress, I got so many compliments when I was making it! (It's more of a nude/Dusty Pink in reallife)

Hey Guys, Sorry about the wait. Year Eleven is a killer. But on another note, wasn't New York spectacular? I may be British,but a little part of me is partial to the New Yorker Style. Something about Carrie Bradshaw, Project Runway and Running in Heels just does it for me. It's really clean and sophisticated, nothing too much but what is there is modern, fresh, and very covetable. My favourite collections included Jason Wu, Rodarte and Marc Jacobs, and above is a collage of some of my favourite looks.

I havn't been able to rate as many collections as I usually do though this year, which makes me really sad as its obviously because I don't have time anymore. I'm trying to balance everything, but it doesn't give me much free time for just chilling, like I used to do. I'm doing something every minute, and if I'm not, I feel guilty!

Anyway, on another fashiony arty note, I visited the V&A for my textiles trip with the school. I also brought Gunther. I'm not sure what it is about him, but he makes me appreciate beauty a lot more! I took so many photos with him, everything was just so inspiring! Not just the dresses, but the silverware and the furniture, the ironware and the stained glass. I reccomend a visit to anyone who hasn't! I did check out The Grace Kelly exhibition, but to be honest its very small and crowded and I preferred the other exhibits. Jeans. Staples of womens wardrobes everywhere. They rule over most other choices, being comfortable, practical, and yet are chic, flattering, can be dressed up or down and go with a variety of different things. We as people like denim so much, we make them into shorts, skirts, shirts, waistcoats, dresses, playsuits and even shoes and jewellery.

Although I prefer to stick to skirts these days, I do own several pairs of jeans. My favourite are a bright blue denim shade, distressed and extraordinarily tight by Ralph Lauren. I still would like to add to my collection though, a pair of true religion here, some current/elliot there.

In Britain, I see the street style regarding jeans to be high waisted and rolled up at the ankle, sported with penny loafers and a boater hat, and preferrably a oversized (tucked in) white shirt. Very much a posh boating trip outfit to go across a lake or somewhere. And for evening wear, accompany long jeans over heels with a fancy top/short dress. I fell in love with this little sweetie from Radley.

I know it's so cliche-ley british-ley middle aged to buy something from Radley, but the leather is oh-so soft and the colour is oh-so bright and the dog is oh-so cute. I'm now just a little bit too proud and hasty to whip out my purse to pay for things now.
He was a present from my parents following my Chinese GCSE results- A*. I have no idea how I managed that!

I'm hoping these clogs are still OK to wear next season! Their so difficult to style, I barely get the chance to wear them. I've added tights for warmth and for a little hope into how to wear them over winter, but walking in them with tights gets a lot more tricky.

I bought my first purchase from Juicy Couture the day before yesterday.I was on the way back from a couple of days away around England, and I stopped off for a couple of hours at Bicester Outlet Village. It's definately worth a visit, some very well known designer name s(including Dior, Alexander Mcqueen, Gucci etc) with respectable, good discounts, but I wouldn't reccommend a extortiantly long time getting there as it is a little on the small side, but if your near, drop in!As well as a tee from Luella (Worth visiting as its probably going to go soon considering the state of the company) (oh and HOW EXCITING I HAVE A TEE SHIRT FROM LUELLA!!) I bought a very-exspensive-for-socks sweet pair from Juicy. I'm not a fan of Juicy Couture. At all. But these sockswere so freaking adorable I couldn't resist. They have little bows on the side and the pattern is so equestrian/golf/polo/posh sport chic. I love them!They will be perfect with wellies for my annual camping trip- to a christian camp called Soul Survivor. So looking forward to it! KISSES

I did it. I bought Clogs! Their absolutelybeautiful on, surprisingly comfortable and quite easy to walk in. But very loud. But very cool :)

I was inspired by an article on everybodyisugly to try remixing (a la the clothes horse) a few items, ie wearing dresses as skirts etc. I already wear dresses as skirts, but not many dresses as tops. I was pleased with the outcome, but had to keep folding the skirt dress thing in everytime I sat down.
I can't even look atthis outfit without feeling hot. It was in June, for goodness sake and I was wearing a long sleeved dress with a skirt over and tights! Jeez, English weather is sooo weird sometimes.

Bonjour mes amies! Ca va? J'ai tres bien, merci.
I bought this skirt from Westfield's New Look. Romantic and girly at its best. Being bored, I added a Gok Twist and sewed some bows along the hem of the second tier and some rose detail across the waistline. I juxtaposed its Romanticness with grey jersey, a beautiful little Skulled Zara Sale number, a la an editorial in februarys elle magazine.
Work experience was so brilliant! It was good clothes, nice discount, fabulous people and a lovely time. I have one exam left (Tuesday), a small amount of coursework due and then I'm free! I have a hench amount of outfit posts lined up, plus I will be commenting as of usual and even more than usual! I will also be again using my chictopia, weardrobe and lookbook accounts, as I have been neglecting them for some time. Bring on a glorious summer of fashion!

I took this of Westfield as we were walking out, it was a sunny day and I had set my ISO way to high and the shutter speed was pretty slow- therefore this picture is very bright. I kind of like it though. Makes it look angelic a little.

Each shop is proper big. Its amazing! It hurts your feet a great deal though.

I had a first experience I want to share with you though. Hollister. The shop looks more like a japanese house from the outside, and you have to QUEUE to get in! I've seen people queing to get into Chanel and Prada at Hong Kong, but thats Chanel and Prada. This is a mere high priced high street shop. But my friends were adamant we queued therefore I did and to be honest I was pleasantly surprised. Yes the shops unbearably dark, but the assistants are all really beautiful and the clothes smell really good! Everything was a little boring, same plaid shirts, print dresses and skirts, labelled t-shirts, but some pieces were pleasantly charming. I adored their whole short collection. They were so perfectly shredded! The next time I go to a Hollister I'm getting a pair of shorts.

Everything was a little overpriced, but I found a (overcrowded) clearance rack and searched for a bit, until I found an oversized blue and white pinstriped shirt. Very cute. Perfect almost. Tenner.

SO I bought it and carried my naked man bag around with some pride and some shame. Ahh well.

Oh and I bought a net underskirt/overskirt and also a pair of violet Mary Janes from New Look. I'm thinking about buying some studs and customising the Mary Janes. What do you think?

(I did have a little peak in Miu Miu and The Village but my feet hurt so excruciatingly I really couldn't bear to go the whole way)

I have to go away for two weeks. I have work experience, 10-5 Monday to Saturday, and when I'm not working I'll be revising for my (gulp) chinese gcse, which I really am destined to fail for.

But I shall photograph my outfits every day! I promise.

When you say 'Boho' I think of Sienna Miller, Maxi Dresses, Denim, Florals and Embroidery. When you say 'Bohemian' I think of Jewel Tone's, Bronze and Tarnished Gold, Peacock Feathers and Lanvin. My translation of Bohemian is probably incredibly wrong but I'm really in love with it!

My favourite blogger? Jane Aldridge at Seaofshoes. I've always adored her blog and her style. She mixes really interesting pieces, the kind of things I would never choose myself but weirdly look amazing. Even if her designer clothes and shoe collection kinda make me cry. But hey, I'm not here to judge.

Anyway, I was really disengaged with her blog for a while, but the last few posts she has really reminded me about what I loved so much about Seaofshoes in the first place. Her post 'Wonderland' inspired this, gold jewelary and rich greens.

So I found my favourite scarf ( £1.50 at Beyond Retro, before it became the overcrowded tourist attraction home to RIDICULOUSLY overpriced vintage) tied it up around my neck and waist and added accessories and black (I'm not as brave as Jane) and kapow.

It's half term, Then I have two weeks work experience! Its brillaint to an extent, as I have a lot of art coursework and Chinese Revision.

I had an art exam today. 5 hours of drawing/painting etc. Some peoples idea of heaven. Some people's idea of hell.

It's an exam, no talking, no music. Therefore you do a lot of thinking. I thought about tomatoes(which I was painting), lunch, glee and these fendi's.

Top- Was a Vintage Cardigan but I stitched it into a top, Skirt- Vintage, Belt- Primark, Earrings- A gift from Africa, Necklaces- Vintage and Random

After researching messy updo's, I came across Dolce and Gabanna's S/S 10 collection again, and completely fell in love. The hair, the make up, and the typical D&G Lace, Tuxedo's and Leopard Print. I attempted the hair and make up and then I couldn't bear not to wear something D&G inspired, so I did the whole lace and gold jewellery overload thing. Is black lace ever out? Please say no. It's too beautiful to abandon forever.

Oh, the whole outfits black and the metal is all gold. So I thought I'd take some black and white shots. I think I'm starting to get the hang of tripod's now.

Your comments really cheered me up. I'm feeling much better now.

I'm having a TERRIBLE day. I'm full of teenage angst, self-hatred, wishful thinking and annoyance. See, I applied for Prefecthood and didn't get it, but then was told I was the next person-the reserve.

Oh.

Why couldn't I have not been told? And left to think ahh well it wasn't meant to be? Then I wouldn't be beating myself up in my head thinking 'why weren't you a better person' or 'why couldn't you have just cared a little more nearer the time' in order for more votes (prefecthood is voted democratically between teachers and students.) I'm just now wishing that someone doesn't want to do it/ gets chucked off the team. Really positive, good thoughts being projected into the atmosphere here. Sorry if it was foggy today, twas my negative thought pollution.

I feel inferior. Ridiculous. Like I can never achieve anything. It just adds to my long list of failed attempts to become part of the best, part of the elite.

Its probably why I study so much. I have a fear of failure, of becoming the same, of not standing out amongst the crowd. Its probably why I induldge in fashion and strive for difference amongst my clothing compared to whats regular in our streets. I'm constantly comparing my abilities against others. It kills me. Every day.

Thing is, if they left me in the dark, I wouldn't have plagued my thoughts. I wouldn't be snappy and moody and mean to my peers. Especially to those who did achieve the post.

So I came home, went through my physics textbook, listened to glee, ate, ate again, played the trumpet, snapped at my parents, ate, listened to some more glee then curled up into the foetal position in the shower. I then preened myself(plucked, bleached, shaved, painted, stuff I've been neglecting for a while) and then caught up on my longg bloglovin list. And then I find the new 'It Shoe'.

Pierre Hard x Gap, gorgeous, out a few days perhaps and been snapped up by some of the most prestigious of the blogging community. Perfect for summer, and with thick,cable knit, grey, over the knee sucks for autumn. They look like a mixture between the leather at celine/ the florals at erderm/ and the overall chicness at burberry. And I believe for £75.00, right? Too good. Only I have only £40 atm. Anyone wanna advertise? I'm open to all sorts.

So I'm gonna go back to dying/ revising/ hating my self, dreaming about these shoes. I have a week of exams, half term, work experience and then a chinese exam (which I'm totally unprepared for). I need clothes for work experience and a new pair of shoes! I'm going to Westfield in half term. Hopefully I'll have some money by then.

The rolled up mens trouser.

Sorry guys, this isn't a fashion take on Blue Peter. It's an incredibly easy, silly creation of my favourite trousers- pleated front, Pegged Leg rolled up (queue post below). I appreciate its not great, but anyway. Step by step.

1. Buy, Blag or Borrow a pair of mens trousers. There isn't really much detail to what you should get if you were to look for one in a charity shop; But don't get to big or you'll end up with an incredibly poofed crotch when you sit down. Not good. Couple of sizes should do it. Make sure you like the colour, and the quality.

2. Put on, Hitch up for a high waist and belt. Preferrably use one you can insert through the belt loops with a buckle. Pull all excess material into two folds(pleats) either side. Try and make them both even.

3. Bend Down, Pull on the side of the trouser across, then fold back on itself like a neat triangle. Dont pull too tight, as then you will be unable to roll them up. Fasten with a safety pin.

End up with something like this?

4. Roll! It depends were you want it to come up to really,but I like it about 2 inches abovethe ankle. Stand up to check length, as bending down makes the trouser appear longer.

Repeat on other leg.

5. Work it! I love these cause they can make plain Tshirts look chic. Unless your 6 foot, wear with heels as there can be an illusion of shorter legs. And why would we want that?All in the name of (percievable) fashion, I suppose.

I'm debating going out in this. The trousers are mens and their absolutely huge. They puff out at the crotch when I sit down. Nice standing, facing the front though.

No.1. I watched The Beach this morning. Its horrible. Its not even that good, just really twisted and disgusting. Its been in my head all day and I hate it.

No.2. Still busy, enough time for a light bit of posting but time won't really free up until July, really. I'll keep posting, but replying to comments and that are slim.

Anyway, I wrote this for another blog/website tingg a few months back, emailed it to them, yet they didnt reply. Therefore, I'm not letting it go to waste. Here are my idea's on the 3 Jackets your going to be dying over this S/S.

I admit it. I’m terrible at layering. I see all these cute girls on street style blogs layered up like a storm, but I’m still pretty much stuck finding warm things to match my many t-shirts or vests. In these times, I would pretty much screw over for an awesome jacket. Jackets are brilliant, oui? Anyone can just go for the same boring thoughtless clothing-ensemble, and then put on that wow-jacket and BAMN, KILLER outfit girlfriend! Still it’s a bit tricky to decide WHAT jackets to buy at the moment? Look no further, fashion children, I am here to sort out your jacket needs.

My predictions for the three must have jackets that YOU will want to be wearing are, as follows;

Utility/Army Jackets- Fashion inspired by our Royal Forces. This season we’ll be ditching the ole navy military jacket in search of a new man from the Army- the Army/Utility jacket as seen on Chloè. Think Slouchy Shapes, Pockets and Khaki. The gap version (shown above) is perfect, but why not take it a bit further? Scoot around for old motifs and medal’s and pin them to your jacket to really embrace the trend. Make sure you belt it up with a wide brown belt.

Clean Cut Jackets- My favourite kind! They flooded the runways at 3.1 Philip Lim, Givenchy and Prada and were appearing cropped, sharply tailored, and beautifully cut. These jackets have carried outfits across the globe from no-no’s to GO GO’s. Personally, if I were to buy one of these jackets I’d invest in designer. These jackets need the care and detail which a high end brand can offer. Anyway, they will be sure to never disappear out of fashion as they appear on the runways season after season. It’s soo worth the investment! I love Kimberly Ovitz’s Ivory cropped beauty, from net a porter. Fabulous. If you’re not so keen on that, Rick Owens is known to make one hell of a jacket.

Trench’s- I know what you may be thinking. Summer? Trench’s? Really? But Burberry Proscum, Dior and Celine have effectively convinced me that not to tuck away your trench just yet, instead throw over pretty summer dresses, heeled sandals, and maybe some girly socks if you’re feeling brave enough. This one from New Look is just the right shade for next season!

And that’s it! Your must have jackets for Spring Summer 10. Genius, oui?

I went to the beach today, and dozed lazily on the stoney sand whilst my friends had a mud fight. Laughing at their efforts rather than joining them, I finished perhaps one of the greatest books of all time, The 7th Harry Potter. Now I think, it is time to settle in my studies rather than dip into the world of wizards, goblins and giants. As Rowena Ravenclaw states; Wit beyond measure is a mans greatest treasure.

I always leave for my studes don't I? I am a perfectionist, I dislike letters that arn't A's. But do not worry readers( If you are worried ), I'm not gonna abandon this blog. I've put far too much effort into it to leave it now.

T Post offered to send me one of their t-shirts a while back, and of course I accepted. For those of you that don't know, T-post are basically a wearable magazine, with a story on the inside, and an artists portrayel on the front. I have 'The New Explorer' issue, which was some very interesting and humourous story about a undiscovered rainforest that apparently bore resemblance to the garden of eden, that had been found via google earth. The idea's pretty cool, because your receieving new clothing and educating yourself at the same time, and your tshirt tells others your pretty up to date on the news. Only thing is, they sent me an tshirt released in february, and i thought I was recieving the latest one. But well done T-post!
Anyway, at the moment, I have a lot of exams coming up, and I also am very much in love with Harry Potter again. Not a good combination.

My room has been all done and dusted for about a month now. Its amazing. I love the space! I tried to decorate as best as I could, at the moment its a little minimalistic, but I kind of like it. It feels nice and spacey. So, of course, I'm showing it off to you, in what I'm hoping is The Selby style.

I don't think I've told you about my little geek obsession with Doctor Who? One of my guilty pleasures. I own a lot of merchandise, toys and books included.

My. Most. Prized. Posessions. I take great pride in this collection, as Harry Potter rules. Full stop.

Perhaps my favourite bit, The closet.

I shouldn't really be blogging now. I've just started school and after failing to complete any homework set over the holidays, I'm a little bit screwed.

Gold by Giles Deacon at New Look must be one of the most genius high street/designer collabarations out there. New Look is cheap, sometimes a bit hookerish, but Giles fits the fun personality of the New Look girl completely. I'm in love with this skirt! I'm obsessed with detailed, inspired prints at the moment.

Cause apparently, for Miuccucia the Prada Chandelier shoes arn't enough to make us drool and scream due to the credit crunch, but then she goes ahead and tempts us with these.

Their so adorable! Their whimsical and girly yet totally grounded by the thick platform, gives them an edge. The straps are delightful, perfectly sculpted. The seem to be a very flattering and versatile shoe that can bring on the fun and playfulness in any character.

Myself, I like the black stain pair. Catch the here on Net-A-Porter, for a very unreasonable price tag of £375.00

Denim on Denim a la Chloe

Shirt(Actually a playsuit)- Primark, Jeans- Just Cavalli, Belt- Vintage, Hairband- Brooch from Primark pinned onto randomn Hairband.

I'm trying to include more full length outfit shots, but at five foot three, I have a very likely tendancy of looking short and chubby. I took about sixteen pictures, which got tedious, so therefore I settled on the one where I look as less hippyfatty as possible. Exscusemoi. I'm very jealous of anyone taller than me. I ask my friends whom are 'what their tips are'. Never works.

Anyway, I tried denim on denim. I like it. Only thing is, this denim shirt is actually a playsuit, and its pretty hard to get the jeans on (Just Cavalli-Tenner at Tk Maxx B0OYYAH). I'd try it with heels for further use, and an actual denim shirt rather than a playsuit.

SO what did we learn from Paris Fashion week, kids?
That next fall, We're going to be wearing summer shades. Camel's, Silver's, Nude, Dusty Pink's, White. And Black. Of course. We're taking cue's from men's tailoring, but instead making them feminine with the cut and shape. Oh, and of course, wear with fur boots from Chanel.
Didn't you find it weird viewing Alexander Mcqueen's last collection without him there? Sort of like a letter from the dead. Nevertheless, he did himself proud, each piece was revolutionary and spectacular.
And Fashion Week ends for another season.

Oh BTW, I'm back. Miss me? Haha. I'll try and reply to your comments now sweet readers.

Hi guys, yet again I'm going to have to apologize for my absense, as it appears I'm very much snowed under with coursework right now. Whether I'm writing about deception in twelfth night, Doing Botanical Forms for Art, Photography Club, Playing an instrument, Church, French Speaking Assessments or just general business, I'm a bit busy for the blog. I know I still have a post to go on Paris Fashion Week (Which was spectacular by the way. Check out the fur at Chanel! Karl never fails to show.) But I will be back, muahah.

Adventure's in Underland.

Jacket- Vintage, Top- Primark, Cuff- Topshop, Shorts- Club Monaco, Belt- Primark.

Took some inspiration from F/W 2010, and belted my favourite jacket. I like the effect! Sorry, exscuse the fat frumpyness in these pictures. The shorts that I'm wearing where from the Lane Crawford outlet in Hong Kong. I love them, they feel so nice! Quality silk there :)

We had a non student day, so I wore this out to watch Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland with some friends (Orange Wednesday's booyah). I personally LOVED the film. Alice is my favourite childhood book, so it was nice to see a continuation of where Lewis Caroll left off. It was creepy, like any Tim Burton film, but I found it magical. The dresses worn by Alice were spectacular! All the actors were brillaint. Only thing, the ending was happy, of course, but the end with the Red Queen and her Nave? I thought it was horrible! It was justified, I suppose, and was quite ironic and fitted in with the whole 'creepy' thing but I can't think about it without feeling horrified and saddened. Everything else was beautiful though. Really worth seeing!

I've only just discovered what a gem boohoo is. This floral beauty is too stunning. I really want some good summer florals and the shape is too adorable, plus the added 'hardcore' effetc of the suds around the bustline is a gem. And only Twenty Quid! Just the perfect thing to do with that note thats expiring at the end of June. Can't decide which variations my favourite though..
